Our Business Endeavors

As we approach the era of ""Society 5.0,"" the importance of security technology continues to grow. TechnoPro IT's Security Business Division is a group of professionals dedicated to securing a safe future from both information security and cybersecurity perspectives.

We offer solutions in three main areas: "Security Consulting," which includes support for obtaining ISMS and P-Mark certifications, building CSIRT and SOC, etc.; "Security Solutions," which involve SIEM implementation support, integrated log management, web and network vulnerability assessments, etc.; and "Platform Business," which covers the sales and maintenance of hardware and software, infrastructure development, and implementation, as well as SalesForce and RPA support.

Our team can provide comprehensive support, from building security management systems to conducting security assessments and implementing and operating security products.

TechnoPro IT's Unique Strengths

Our Security Business Division is based in development centers in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Matsuyama. We collaborate with branches across the country, from Sapporo to Fukuoka, to provide services to our clients nationwide. As of May 2022, we have a team of 90 professionals. While there are security-specialized companies, few have a dedicated security division of this scale. Being independent, we are not tied to specific manufacturers or products, allowing us to offer the most suitable solutions to our clients through extensive alliances.

We focus on areas of security technology with high market value. Our strengths lie in four solutions: "Platform Construction Solution" for IT infrastructure construction and deployment, "SFDC Construction Solution" for developing on SalesForce as a platform, "Web Vulnerability Diagnosis Solution" for identifying security holes, and "SIEM Construction/Log Analysis Solution" for security operations.

What we Aim to Achieve as a Division Going Forward

In the cloud era where external services are actively utilized, "Zero Trust," a security approach based on the assumption of "trust no one," is essential. Specialized knowledge in security is in demand for both corporate-driven DX and local government efforts to strengthen security.

To meet the growing needs, we are focusing on education and talent development. We have established a unique support system for acquiring certifications, such as "ISMS" (Information Security Management System), "SecuriST" (Certified Network Vulnerability Diagnostician) and "CEH" (Certified Ethical Hacker) by GSX, and the national qualification "Registered Information Security Specialist" (Registered SecSpec). The company covers the costs, allowing employees to participate in training and exams as part of their work.

As of 2022, we mainly conduct outsourced and contracted projects centered around our three development centers in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Matsuyama. To increase the ratio further, we plan to expand to other locations in the future.

Expectations for Career Professionals' Contributions and Roles

Currently, there is a shortage of engineers with expertise in security. However, if you have experience in infrastructure engineering, such as network construction, you can acquire security-related knowledge and skills through training after joining us.

In the era of "Society 5.0," knowledge of AI, IoT, big data, robotics, and other areas is indispensable for security. In addition to network and system knowledge, we encourage continuous training in the latest fields such as AI, IoT, and data science. We expect individuals to grow into security specialists in their respective areas of expertise.

Desirable Characteristics and Human Skills for Mid-Career Hires

As a TechnoPro IT Security Division engineer, depending on your capabilities, you can take on consulting and upstream processes and lead projects. However, our engineers are not confined to planning and conceptualizing on paper only. The key to our engineers' high reputation lies in their ability to work closely with clients, actively engage with people both inside and outside the company, and drive projects to success with forward-thinking ideas and determination to continually learn and grow.

MESSAGE

Security expertise is not required upon entry. Candidates with a background in infrastructure fields, like network construction, and a strong commitment to professional growth are invited to apply and become a part of our team.

We offer thorough training to acquire security knowledge and skills. We continue to support your skill development with ongoing training and certification support. Based on your infrastructure experience, we encourage you to sharpen skills that will be essential in the future and grow into highly valued engineers.

Talking with Human ResourcesKey Points

For instance, one local government carried out a network system renovation project as part of its "security fortification" efforts. TechnoPro IT was chosen as a partner due to our team's expertise in both network and server aspects and its ability to cover a wide range of areas. Our 16-member Security Business Division successfully implemented security measures such as virtual desktops, firewalls, and network segregation.

As an infrastructure engineer, you are likely aware of the significance and market value of security technology. Unfortunately, Japan is considered a security-deficient country, leaving ample room for growth. If you have an interest in security technology but lack an environment to challenge yourself, we have prepared a training and education system from the basics. This is your chance to acquire security skills that will remain relevant in the future and upgrade your engineering career.
